Transforming Lives Through Food Service

Our restaurant-style soup kitchen, open 365 days a year! Our mission is to not only feed the hungry, but also provide essential toiletry products and a safe place to receive mail.

What we provide:

  • Meals: We provide delicious meals to our community, serving up to 350 plates daily using donations from local grocery stores through Philabundance.

  • Toiletry Products: We offer travel-sized toiletry products every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

  • Feminine Products and Diapers: We provide feminine products and diapers (both for adults and children) every day.

  • Haircuts: Free haircuts are provided at “Angel’s Barber Shop” on Thursdays from 9am-1pm at our 2439 Kensington Avenue building.

In addition to providing meals and essentials, our kitchen serves as a safe place for individuals to have their mail delivered and stored until they can come pick it up.

What we provide:

  • Clothing: Our guests can come once a week to pick out an outfit that includes underwear, socks, shirt, and pants. Some items such as shoes, hoodies, sheets, and towels are handed out once a month. Blankets and coats are given seasonally.

  • Organization: Our volunteers sort and label the clothing by size, hang them, and put them out on the floor in an organized manner.
