St. Francis Urban Center

The Urban Center is our latest outreach ministry that was started in September 2006. The Center represents an expansion of St. Francis Inn Ministries’ work to include efforts to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness and address structural injustices. The Urban Center provides social services to families and individuals who are dealing with issues related to poverty and/or homelessness. We provide housing services that include assessment, information and referrals on housing resources. We also provide case management services to families and individuals.

In May of 2010, the Urban Center began a new ministry called St. Margaret House, a small supportive housing program for single mothers and their children.  We had to phase-out the housing program and close the House in February 2015.

Our mission is to empower people to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty and address structural injustices.

Our vision is inspired by our two core values: empowerment and justice.
